Two-wheeler loans are small and many. Digital reminders, tele-calling and field visits are used in that order, by bucket.
An average two-wheeler loan is under ₹50,000. A field visit costs about ₹350. Field visits are for 31+ DPD or for borrowers who have broken two promises.
| Bucket | Channel |
|---|---|
| Pre-due (3 days before) | SMS and WhatsApp reminder |
| 1 to 15 DPD | Automated call, then tele-caller |
| 16 to 30 DPD | Tele-caller with a payment link; promise to pay recorded |
| 31 to 60 DPD | Field visit; payment collected through the app with a receipt |
| 61+ DPD | Collections manager decides on repossession under KB-006 |
Two-wheelers have no FASTag or GPS data, so the score leans on repayment and bureau signals. A borrower with new loans elsewhere (B2) and a bureau drop (B1) in the same month is three times as likely to roll.
All cash collected is receipted on the app at the time of payment. Any reversal of a cash receipt is reviewed by the branch manager the same day; a pattern of reversals raises K2 for the branch.
